Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation

Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation

Project Details:

After a successful online redesign campaign in 2006, the Jazz & Heritage Foundation asked Zande+Newman Design to freshen up the look of the site and to help draw user focus to three primary ares: 1/ the work the foundation does, 2/ the large number of events it puts on each year (it’s more than just Jazz Fest, folks!), and 3/ how to get involved (emphasizing Fans of the Fest and other donation methods).

We rewrote the donation wizard on the site allowing users to choose from 5 different membership levels with Fans of the Fest, or to make a normal donation that could be directed to a specific programming category, or even made on behalf of another person in the form of a memorial or gift.

Additionally, we embarked on a focused emarketing campaign strategy, and helped integrate some social marketing tools such as a Facebook Fan Page, and a Twitter page.

The foundation has expressed continued satisfaction with the execution of this project as it has helped them to take in more revenue over the web and additionally to more rapidly inform their users and the local community about the value of the work they are doing.
