Louisiana Fresh Produce
Project Details:
Louisiana Fresh needed two things going into this project: 1/ a functional and extensible way to manage and display their vast product offerings in a simple format for their users, and 2/ an online ordering system to allow their users (generally chefs and sous chefs in the greater New Orleans area) the option of placing their produce orders online thereby virtually eliminating possible errors in delivery.
Apart from a major visual design upgrade, we – Trumpet – also took the opportunity to employ the power of Expression Engine‘s content management ability to allow Louisiana Fresh to maintain the information on their wide range of fresh produce. They have ability to add new products, edit current product information, and feature products on a category by category basis.
In an effort to manage additional costs to the client related to the second deliverable of the online ordering system, we approached Intelogix in Atlanta, GA to work with Louisiana Fresh to incorporate their OneLink and OneLink Mobile technology to offer Louisiana Fresh’s clients a fast, easy, and accurate process for placing orders.
